PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printer which provides a new function that has never been provided in the conventional one by connecting operation history with service or functions to be provided. SOLUTION: The tape printer 1 which displays printing layout on a display 24 and prints on a processing tape according to the printing layout includes: a history storage part 80 for storing cumulative operating time or the number of times of printing operation; and a function changing part 81 for changing the function to be provided in accordance with the cumulative operating time or the number of times of printing operation.
