Provided is an information device management system which can collect information on a use state of information devices to be managed even when communication with the information device management device is disabled. The information device management system includes: an IC card (4) containing a user ID; information devices (2, 3) which contain device ID and can be used when a predetermined user ID is read out from the IC card (4); and an information device management device (1) having an information device management DB containing the device ID of the information devices (2, 3, 6, 8), user ID, and use state information while correlating them to one another. When communication with the information device management device (1) is disabled, the information devices (2, 3) write the use state information corresponding to a communication-disabled state into the IC card (4) together with a device ID and a user ID. When the communication is enabled, the information devices (2, 3) read out the use state information from the IC card (4) and transmit the information to the information device management device (1).
