PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method of the ingredient amount in the skin for accurately evaluating how the ingredient amount in the skin in a specific section inside the skin varies. SOLUTION: This evaluation method of the ingredient amount in the skin includes processes of: (a) measuring the ingredient amount in the skin to be measured; (b) acquiring the information on the ingredient amount in the skin related to the depth direction of the skin from data acquired in the process (a); (c) correcting the depth from the skin surface of a horny layer in the skin to be measured by approximating the thickness of the horny layer of the skin to the thickness of the drying state; and (d) correcting the information acquired in the process (b) as the information on the ingredient amount in the skin for the depth corrected in the process (c).
