RADIATION DETECTOR AND X-RAY CT APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector and an X-ray CT apparatus which achieve a higher productivity while restricting the deterioration in detection data.

SOLUTION: The radiation detector includes a collimator, a scintillator which is installed facing the collimator and emits fluorescence receiving radiation and photoelectric conversion means which have photoelectric convertors for converting the fluorescence to electric signals and are installed on the main surface of the scintillator. The collimator has the first area where one set of collimator plates is arrayed for one photoelectric convertor and the second area where one set of collimator plates for a plurality of photoelectric converters is arrayed.
