PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calibration method for a spectroscopy, capable of using a light source of a spectroscopy both for measurement and calibration by calibrating a spectroscopic means, in a state where the light source emits light with a narrow spectrum line, and performing calibration operation, without having to prepare another light source for calibration, in addition to the light source used for measurement. SOLUTION: A method for calibrating a spectroscopic means 2 includes, in a state where a single light source 1 both for measurement and calibration provided in the spectroscopy emits a light with a narrow spectrum line and then conducting photometry; and calibrating the spectroscopic means 2, based the light measurement result.
