PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically set passband of a receive filter to a desired passband, when searching for an incoming signal by rotating a dial faster and when adjusting frequency in minute amounts rotating the dial slowly in a wireless receiver operation to catch the incoming signal with an operation of a frequency adjusting dial for reception frequency with wide frequencies range. SOLUTION: A filter for a required passband frequency and/or passband width is selected based on a reception frequency adjustment means, a filter means that can control passband width, and adjusted frequency amount per unit time through an operation of the reception frequency adjustment means.
