METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DECORATED MOLDING

A method for manufacturing a decorated molding which has projections and depressions in a decorated surface, the method comprising a process (1) wherein while a heat-shrinkable resin sheet is supported, the resin sheet is irradiated with infrared rays so that an area (A) and an area (B) adjacent to each other within the same surface of the resin sheet are different from each other in surface temperature and the surface temperature of at least the area (A) is equal to or higher than a temperature (T) of an flexion point of orientation returning strength of the resin sheet, thereby generating the difference in film thickness between the area (A) and the area (B)and a process (2) wherein the resin sheet is adhered to and integrated with an object to be adhered by a vacuum molding method. In a method of decorating simultaneously with vacuum molding, the decorated molded article having the projections and depressions in the decorated surface after decoration can be obtained without requirement for a physical method such as embossing and in a high reproducible manner.
