Disclosed is an exhaust recirculation system comprised of a plurality of superchargers (6A, 6B) connected in parallel to an exhaust passage (3) for introducing exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine (2); an EGR passage (25) which bypasses a charging or scavenging passage (10) through which compressed gas generated by the superchargers (6A, 6B) is supplied to the internal combustion engine (2) and the exhaust passage (3); and a control device (30) which adjusts an EGR ratio which is a ratio of the quantity of exhaust gas passing through the EGR passage to the total quantity of exhaust gas, wherein the control device (30) determines whether or not each of the superchargers (6A, 6B) is operated in accordance with the load and the EGR ratio of the internal combustion engine (2).
