PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a prepolymerized catalyst for olefin polymerization, which contains a small amount of fine particles. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the prepolymerized catalyst for olefin polymerization comprises a fine powder-removing step of removing fine particles of the prepolymerized catalyst for olefin polymerization from an aggregate of particles of the prepolymerized catalyst for olefin polymerization obtained by prepolymerization of an olefin. Therefore, the prepolymerized catalyst for olefin polymerization containing a small amount of fine particles of the prepolymerized catalyst for olefin polymerization can be manufactured and the olefin polymer can be stably continuously manufactured using the resultant prepolymerized catalyst.
