In the charging device (1), discharge route circuits (34) which discharge the charging current Ic supplied to the secondary batteries (22) when battery voltage Vb of the secondary batteries (22) exceeds a predetermined voltage while charging are provided respectively to the secondary batteries (22), and also provided are disconnection circuits (37) which disconnect the discharge route circuits (34) from the respective secondary batteries (22) after completion of the charging.</p>
