Embodiments of the subject disclosure are directed toward kits, systems, and methods for restoring fractured bone. In particular, some of the embodiments of the subject disclosure are directed to a kit for producing a bone cement of a predetermined stiffness, which bone cement may be used either alone or in conjunction with one or more implantable or non-implantable devices, so as to restore a fractured bone. In some embodiments, the kit may include one or more of a powder component, such as a polymeric component, a liquid component, such as a monomer component, and an additive component. In some embodiments, the kit may further include instructions for the combining and mixing of the various kit components so as to produce a final cement product having a predetermined stiffness. Methods of employing the kit in performing various therapeutic treatments are also provided.
