PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance method for a fluid jetting apparatus in which maintenance high in reliability is efficiently carried out, and to provide a fluid jetting apparatus. SOLUTION: In the maintenance method for the fluid jetting apparatus which includes a fluid jetting head with nozzles for jetting a fluid, the discharging operation of the fluid is adjusted according to a dissolved nitrogen amount of the fluid in the cleaning operation for discharging the fluid from the nozzles by bringing the vicinity of the nozzles to a negative pressure.
