PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escutcheon for mounting a handle, which can flexibly adapt to a consumer's idea, and which can avoid troubles such as stocking and management. SOLUTION: This escutcheon for mounting the handle, which is fixed to the wall surface of a door, includes a mounting base which is formed in a predetermined shape with a window, and a print display unit which is provided on the mounting base. The print display unit includes: an input portion; a storage portion which stores print information received by the input portion; a control unit which performs control for outputting the print information of the storage portion onto electronic paper; and the electronic paper which is provided in the window of the mounting base, and which constantly displays (prints) the post-display print information by data self-preservation even when electricity does not flow after the displaying of the print information from the control unit.
