Disclosed is a polyimide precursor composition containing a polyamic ester, which provides a polyimide film having a high imidization ratio and excellent adhesion to an inorganic substrate, and has good storage stability. The polyimide precursor composition containing a polyamic ester, a thermal imidization accelerator, and a solvent, wherein the thermal imidization accelerator is a compound which has a carboxyl group and an amino group or an imino group showing basicity by thermal deprotection and does not accelerate imidization of a polyamic ester before removing a protecting group. Further, the polyimide precursor composition containing a silane-coupling agent.
