<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cost reduction such as reduction of assembly manhours and reduction of the number of parts without deteriorating pressure tightness and durability. <P>SOLUTION: The seal for an absorber sealing an annular gap between a housing and a reciprocating shaft assembled to mutually and concentrically reciprocate, comprises: an oil seal equipped with an oil lip integrally provided in an inner peripheral side of a first annular member held in a housing side and contacting so as to carry out sealing an outer peripheral surface of the reciprocating shaft; and a dust seal equipped with a dust lip positioned in an outer side than the oil seal, integrally provided in an inner peripheral side of a second annular member held in a housing side, and contacting so as to carry out sealing the outer peripheral surface of the reciprocating shaft.
