PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for controlling the travel of a rice transplanter without needing a complicated work by a driver in a supplemental work such as seedling loading or fertilizer supplement. SOLUTION: The rice transplanter 1 includes: an engine 5; a continuously variable transmission 21; a change pedal 16; a seedling planting device 2; a supplement detection means; a variable speed actuator 60 for performing the variable speed control of the transmission 21; a supplement release means 56; and a controller 80. The controller 80 stops travel when it is detected by the supplement detection means that supplement is necessary, and allows the travel at a prescribed speed when the supplement release means 56 is operated.
