PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding resin which is a sheet-shaped molding resin, does not take so much time for melting, and does not occur air reservoir when molding the resin, and to provide a resin molding method. SOLUTION: The resin molding method has a process for preparing a resin molding metallic mold which is constituted of an upper mold and a lower mold and at the lower mold of which a resin reservoir is formed, a process for supplying the molding resin 1A which is sheet-shaped and is provided with ruggedness in a thickness direction to the resin reservoir at the lower mold, a process for melting the molding resin by heating and a process for holding matter to be molded by the upper mold and dipping the matter to be molded in the molten molding resin in the resin reservoir while holding the matter to be molded by the upper mold to carry out compression molding.
