PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive robot system while increasing the degree of freedom of a robot attitude. SOLUTION: The robot system (1) includes: an articulated robot (10) including a robot base (11) and an arm portion (12) pivotably mounted on the robot base; a rotation unit (20) including an installation portion (21) installed on an installation surface and a rotary table (22) rotatably mounted on the installation portion; a connection unit (30) for connecting the robot base of the articulated robot with the rotary table of the rotation unit so that a pivoting axis around which the arm portion pivots and a rotational axis around which the rotary table rotates are in a non-parallel state to each other; and a control unit (40) for controlling the articulated robot and the rotation unit.
