PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic transistor having high mobility, a large current on/off ratio, and excellent storage stability. SOLUTION: The organic transistor has an organic semiconductor layer which contains at least one kind of composition represented by a formula (1). In the formula, X<SB>1</SB>-X<SB>14</SB>each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, straight-chain, branched or cyclic alkyl, straight-chain, branched or cyclic alkoxy, or substituted or unsubstituted aryl, R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>each independently represent substituted ethynyl, and r and s each independently represent 0 or 1.
