AGITATING BODY FOR MOLTEN METAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agitating body for molten metal capable of finely miniaturizing and equalizing bubbles formed by blowing gas. SOLUTION: In the agitating body 1 for molten metal, an edge of a cylindrical shaft 3 is provided with an agitating blade 2 formed with a radial passage groove part 22 of blown gas at its bottom surface part 2a, and a ratio of a projection bottom surface area of a part of the passage groove part 22 to a projection bottom surface area of a part of the agitating blade 2 is set to be 0.20-0.60. The agitating blade 2 can be formed to be a shape of disk. A ratio of the length of the passage groove part 22 to the radius can be set to be 0.5-0.9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
