PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection nozzle increasing a flow coefficient while providing a plurality of nozzle ports. SOLUTION: This fuel injection nozzle 10 includes: a nozzle body 12 having a fuel supply passage 11; the nozzle ports 13 penetratingly formed through the nozzle body 12 from the downstream end of the fuel supply passage 11; and a needle 14 reciprocatably inserted into the fuel supply passage 11 to open/close the nozzle ports 13. In each of the nozzle ports 13, the hole cross-sectional shape of an inlet on the side of the fuel supply passage 11 includes semi-elliptically-shaped portion 20 formed in a portion positioned on the upstream side of at least a fuel flow with a direction along the fuel flow in the fuel supply passage 11 as a long diameter direction.
