摘要 A first gas diffusion layer and a first gas flow path forming material are laminated on a first surface of an electrode structure, and a second gas diffusion layer and a second gas flow path forming material are laminated on a second surface. A porous layer having a continuous pore is interposed between the gas flow path forming material and a separator. A drainage accelerating member made of a porous material having the continuous pore is provided to communicate with the downstream end of a second gas flow path (T2) of the second gas flow path forming material and also communicate with the downstream end of the continuous pore of the porous layer. Generated water absorbed into the porous layer by a capillary action from the flow path (T2) flows downstream by surface tension of the water, is absorbed into the drainage accelerating member, and is drained from the second gas flow path (T2) into an outlet channel by a flow pressure of oxidation off-gas flowing in the continuous pore of the accelerating member. Thus, a fuel cell is provided, which can prevent the generated water from remaining in the second gas flow path (T2) of the second gas flow path forming material on the cathode side and prevent a drop in power generation due to insufficient supply of oxidation gas to the electrode structure.
