An information processing device, an information processing method, and a program which enable drawing of a graphics image for the left eye and a graphics image for the right eye in a consistent manner in 3D image display. Graphics planes are storage areas wherein storage areas of images of two planes consisting of an L-area for storing an image of one plane for the left eye and an R-area for storing an image of one plane for the right eye are arranged side by side. When an API (application programming interface) ensuring completeness of drawing of graphics images into the graphics planes is called, the images having been drawn into the graphics planes are outputted to be displayed. This invention can be applied to a BD player etc. for reproducing a BD.
