<p>Method for preparing methadonium chloride by Grignard reaction of ethylmagnesium bromide with 4-N,N-dimethylamino-2,2- diphenylpentanenitrile, wherein the obtained complex is subjected to hydrolysis under the temperature of 60 to 70 °C with an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid having a concentration of from 3 to 35 %, the aqueous-organic mixture is then separated and by adding a base in an aqueous phase methadone is obtained which is then extracted using an organic solvent, the organic extract is concentrated, the crude methadone is re-crystallized from 2-propanole, crystals are dried, methadone base is dissolved in an alcohol having 2 to 4 carbon atoms, then is neutralized by hydrogen chloride and by addition of an ether having 4 to 8 carbon atoms methadonium chloride is released.</p> |
