<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display element and a method of manufacturing the same achieved in favorable display. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display element includes: a first transparent substrate including a first polarization film having a plurality of concentric shape patterns or radial patterns and a first transparent electrode; a second transparent substrate including a second polarization film having a plurality of concentric shape patterns or radial patterns and a second transparent electrode; and a liquid crystal layer held between the first transparent substrate and the second transparent substrate. When viewed from the normal direction, a pixel is defined in a position where the first transparent electrode and the second transparent electrode are opposite to each other, and the center of the concentric shape pattern or the radial pattern of the first polarization film is aligned with the center of the concentric shape pattern or the radial pattern of the second polarization film, and disposed outside the pixel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
