<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rental-article accommodating case formed with a case part for accommodating a rental article and a lock member for being inserted into a locking part of the accommodating case part, of which a tape indicating a message, such as "Rental OK" is prevented from being damaged and stained so that the tape can be maintained clean. <P>SOLUTION: A locking part 12 provided in an opening end part of an accommodating case part 11 on an opposite side of a hinge thereof is formed transparently or translucently, and a message tape 19 indicating a necessary message adheres to a lock member 13 for being inserted into the locking part 12.
