PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod material supply device for gripping rod materials different in diameter and delivering them from a storage pipe, in sequence. SOLUTION: The rod material supply device includes the storage pipe 11 for storing the rod materials, a chuck 12 fixed to the front end of the storage pipe, a chuck ring 13 fitted into the front end outer periphery of the chuck, and an outer cylinder 14 storing them. A protruded portion 12c is formed on the inner face of a finger 12a which grips the rod materials, and a ring portion 13a of the chuck ring 13 abutting on the finger 12a is taper-shaped to be unfolded toward the front end. A cap 15 fixed to the front end of the outer cylinder 14 has a mechanism for changing the opening shape depending on the diameters of the rod materials passing therethrough.
