<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield machine and a construction method for tunnel for excavating one tunnel when constructing a tunnel for branching and joining and constructing a plurality of tunnels in a branching-joining part from/with a main tunnel to simplify joining construction work, shorten a construction term, and reduce construction cost. <P>SOLUTION: In this master/slave shield machine having a master shield machine 12 for excavating and forming a tunnel having the predetermined cross section and a plurality of slave shield machines 14 capable of starting from the master shield machine, the master shield machine has a plurality of slave shield machine storage parts 32 and a plurality of master shield machine cutters 18 being rotated by a driving source arranged outside of the slave shield machine storage parts, and each slave shield machine can be stored in the slave shield machine storage part in the master shield machine and has a slave shield machine cutter 106 being rotated by a driving source arranged in the slave shield machine. By driving the master shield machine cutter and the slave shield machine cutter while each slave shield machine is stored, the master/slave shield machine 10 can excavate tunnel, and the slave shield machine can start from the slave shield machine storage part in the master shield machine after stopping excavation by the master/slave shield machine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
