<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal separator, and a filtration and washing method, for capturing efficiently a toner base particle, followed to be washed, to recover the toner base particle highly efficiently, and for evading toner performance from getting low by an impurity contained in a dispersion, in a process for filtrating the toner base particle from the dispersion containing the toner base particle manufactured by a wet method, and to provide a method of manufacturing toner for improving image quality, without generating defective cleaning, while restraining contamination in an image white part, splash in a device, a stripe, blurring and the like, for improving a problem of contamination or the like in use for a long period, and excellent in image stability. <P>SOLUTION: This method of manufacturing the toner for developing an electrostatic image manufactures the toner obtained by filtrating and washing the toner base particle, from the dispersion containing the toner base particle containing a wax, using the centrifugal separator with a filter cloth, and a filter cloth material and the wax contained in the toner base particle satisfy Expression (1)¾[solubility parameter of the filter cloth material]-[solubility parameter of the wax contained in the toner base particle]¾≥4, in the method of manufacturing the toner for developing the electrostatic image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
