PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems wherein electric field concentration is generated around foreign matters when they enter between an insulating rod and end metal fitting at the time of impressing DC voltage to a high-voltage conductor in a power switching device and it causes reduction of voltage-resistant performance.
SOLUTION: In the power switching device, a gap is prepared between the insulating rod and the end metal fitting, a low resistance layer is prepared on at least a section opposite to the end metal fitting on the surface of the insulating rod, and a nonlinear resistance layer wherein its resistivity is lowered as an electric field becomes higher is prepared in a surface alongside insulating direction of the insulating rod from an end of the low resistance layer. Thus, the power switching device having an insulating operation rod which hardly reduces voltage-resistant performance can be attained since the electric field concentration can be restrained in spite of invasion of foreign matters.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
|
