PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for an exterior decoration material that exhibits high rigidity and high flowability, and is formed into a molded body having good external appearances and being inhibited from distortion even under a high temperature condition. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises polyamide, polyphenylene ether and an inorganic filler, where the polyphenylene ether contains at least 60 mass% of a component having a molecular weight of not more than 30,000 and less than 5 mass% of a component having a molecular weight of not more than 3,000, and the flexural modulus at 23°C as measured in accordance with ISO 178 is at least 4 GPa.
