PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently suppress residual vibration of a meniscus and to utilize energy used in the suppression of the residual vibration for ejection of liquid droplets. SOLUTION: A first drive waveform 50 and a second drive waveform 51 are respectively input to different actuators. The second drive waveform 51 increases a volume of a pressurizing chamber at a time t2 so as to suppress residual vibration of a meniscus and decreases the volume of the pressurizing chamber at a time t5 so as to eject an ink droplet at timing the same as the first drive waveform 50.
