PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin electromagnetic transducer that acquires necessary magnetic flux density by using an inexpensive permanent magnet, and is inexpensive and highly efficient by reducing divided vibration of a diaphragm to reduce loss of a sound pressure level. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic transducer includes: yokes 10 formed in U shape having an opened upper surface and disposed on the right and left; permanent magnets 11 disposed in the yokes 10; and a diaphragm 12 formed in a rectangular box having an opened lower surface by a thin soft resin film, having a bobbin 12b by forming a coil 12a on the side, and having right and left sides disposed between the yokes 10 and the permanent magnets 11.
