Provided is an input assistance device wherein an input assistance image can be viewed under an appropriate display condition at the time of input operation. The input assistance device assists an input operation with respect to an input device wherein an input code corresponding to a spatial movement of a finger is determined, and the input assistance device comprises a detection means which is attached to an attachment portion on a finger or a hand of a user, for detecting the movement of the finger, and generating a detection signal; an input code determination means for determining an input code corresponding to the detection signal from the detection means; and a control means for determining a display condition of an input assistance image on the basis of the detection signal from the detection means, the input assistance image for assisting the finger movement being displayed on a display screen where the result of the input code determination is displayed.
