<p>Provided is a lens drive control device for controlling a lens drive system comprising a lens frame for holding an optical lens so as to be movable forward and backward in the optical axis direction of the lens, and a transmission member for transmitting, to the lens frame, drive force generated by the strain deformation of a shape-memory alloy member that exhibits a predetermined hysteresis characteristic between the temperature and the amount of strain, the lens drive control device comprising a control unit for performing control for changing the temperature of the shape-memory alloy member to a temperature in a dead zone of the predetermined hysteresis characteristic at a timing at which an instruction to move the lens frame forward and backward is stopped.</p> |
