<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a problem of generating a false signal due to deterioration of color modulation, the problem arising when different color pixels are mixed in an imaging element to achieve handling of both a moving image and a still image. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging element 102 includes a pixel mixing means 701 for mixing adjacent pixels, and an imaging element driver 103 includes a mixture combination changing means 702 for changing a combination of pixel mixture for each frame. For the signals outputted from the imaging element 102, the positive/negative sign of a difference of signals adjacent in an oblique direction is reversed for every frame in the same position. A digital signal processing unit 106, which receives the signals from the imaging element 102, includes a luminance signal-processing section 703 and a color signal-processing section 704. The color signal processing section 704 includes a color signal-calculating means 705, a color signal frame memory 706, an inter-frame color signal subtraction means 707, and other processing sections 708. The structure amplifies the color signals double to compensate the deterioration of color modification, and eliminates the influence of bright-dark patterns of a subject highly correlated in time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
