PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new electrolyte composition which shows high ionic conductivity and does not have the possibility of liquid leakage, and to provide a secondary battery which includes the electrolyte composition and excelling in durability. SOLUTION: In the electrolyte composition containing a compound A, electrolyte salt, and inorganic fine particles, the compound A consists of organic cation and organic anion and is a compound polymerized from monomer having ionic monomer with a polymerizable functional group.
