PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implement for removing clogging of a nozzle, that facilitates removal of clogging of the nozzle without giving damage thereto by the removal processing and that also reduces time for the removing operation and increases the processing efficiency, and to provide a method for removing clogging of the nozzle using this implement. SOLUTION: The implement 1A removes clogging of a nozzle which introduces and extrude a molding raw material to form a honeycomb molding having a plurality of polygonal cells as circulation holes. The implement 1 for removing clogging of the nozzle includes slits 7 capable of discharging the molding raw material and cell blocks 5 for forming the circulation holes. The implement 1 is structured as one for removing clogging of the nozzle so that it can be inserted into at least two slits 7 among the slits 7 formed in the circumference of the cell blocks 5.
