PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user understand that wearing sections 18R and 18L of an earphone 12 are worn correctly in the right and left ears, by making the user intuitively understand which is the correct output of discriminating sound of right and left, for user's operation, without being conscious of the inspection. SOLUTION: The user's operations are classified into what makes the user feel advance images, such as, reproduction start and truck-up, and what makes the user feel reversing images, such as reproduction stop and truck-down, and the former is related to the right, and the latter is related to the left. The detected classification of the user's operations is determined (S38); and if it is the former, an operation sound effect is output from a right channel (S39); and if it is the latter, the operation sound effect is output from a left channel (S40). When the right- and left-discriminating sound is output from a different side of the right and the left which is imaged for user's operation, it is determined that the wearing sections 18R and 18L are worn incorrectly.
