PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating motion transmitting device to be used for a device whose rotating motion is restricted in a predetermined angle range, offering technology for reducing loads on cables. SOLUTION: The rotating motion transmitting device includes a shaft 22a connected to the shaft of a steering wheel 2, a steering wheel side drum 24a, the first cable 12a, the second cable 12b, and a steering side drum 24b, wherein a rotating angle restricting device 62 is provided for restricting the rotating angle range of the shaft 22a. Thus, it restricts the rotating angle range of the shaft 22a depending on the steering angle range of a steering mechanism 8. As a result, even when the shaft 22a is attempted to be rotated over the steering angle range of the steering mechanism 8, the rotation of the shaft 22a is restricted by the rotating angle restricting device 62 to prevent the operation of excessive force on the first cable 12a and the second cable 12b.
