PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein a derricking cylinder left on a turning base side is required to be supported at a sideways falling-down attitude when traveling a vehicle in a separated state of a boom in an extra large size crane vehicle, but a support base becomes a hindrance when counterweight is mounted on a vehicle frame since the derricking cylinder at the sideways falling-down attitude is supported by the support base from the vehicle frame in a conventional way. SOLUTION: In this boom attaching/detaching type crane vehicle, the boom 3 is removed and is separately delivered during traveling. In the crane vehicle, the counterweight 5 to be conveyed by being mounted at a prescribed position on the vehicle frame 11 is provided with the support base 6 for supporting the derricking cylinder 4 left on the turning base 2 side at the sideways falling-down attitude, and thereby the derricking cylinder 4 can be supported in a mounted state of the counterweight 5 mounted on the vehicle frame 11.
