PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal member for a vehicle, which is easily inserted in a pipe and the lip part of which is hardly broken. SOLUTION: This seal member 10 for a vehicle is mounted to an opening BMa of a vehicle body side member BM, and seals an outer periphery of a pipe penetrating through the opening BMa and an opening peripheral edge of the opening BMa. The seal member 10 for the vehicle has: a seal member body 12 having a mounting part 14 mounted to the opening peripheral edge; a lip part 18, on which an insertion hole 18a for inserting a pipe P is formed and which seals the pipe by pressing the outer periphery of the pipe P; and a chevron-shaped thin skirt part 16 connecting the lip part 18 and the seal member body 12. The skirt part 16 has a circular shape in a portion connected to the lip part 18, and also has an ellipse or oval shape in a portion connected to the seal member body 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
