<p>Provided are a film for insert molding using a projection plate, configured in such a manner that the projection plate is not displaced positionally or buried at the time of insert molding and that a suction mark does not remain on the surface of the projection plate, a method of manufacturing the film, and a method of manufacturing a product by insert molding using a projection plate. A film for insert molding using a projection plate is formed by adhering the projection plate, which has been cut into a predetermined outer shape, to one surface of a base film by means of a pressure sensitive adhesive layer, and the film for insert molding consists of a wood grain area formed by a pattern appearing on the surface of the projection plate and also of a non-wood grain area other than the wood grain area. The film for insert molding is placed within an injection molding mold in such a manner that the surface of the film for insert molding, said surface being the surface opposite to the surface on which the base film is located, is applied along the cavity forming surface of the mold. After the mold is closed, a molding resin is filled into the cavity to obtain a product which is insert molded using the projection plate and in which the film for insert molding and the molding resin are integrated with each other.</p> |
