The surface component with a decorative visible surface (1) useful as lining, veneer or structural component in the interior of the vehicles or electric appliances, comprises a layer structure made of a metal/plastic carrier structure and a plastic-fiber fleece layer adhered over the carrier structure. The plastic-fiber fleece is made of light-reflecting and/or light-refracting polymer fibers, which are metallically coated for predominant part. The density or thickness of the plastic-fiber fleece is selected, so that the carrier structure arranged under it optically reflects through. The plastic carrier structure has a metallized surface or a metallic coating, and is formed by a light-transparent or light-refracting plastic, where over 98% of the fiber surface of the plastic-fiber fleece is metallically coated. The metallic coating is carburated and/or nitrided. The plastic-fiber fleece are directly adhered on the surface of the carrier structure with a thin and transparent adhesive layer, consists of woven and knitted fabric, and bears a thin clearcoat layer.
