PURPOSE: An auto transmission is provided to have a shiftgear which has a forward eight step gear speed and a backward one step gear speed by using three planetary gears and six friction elements. CONSTITUTION: A first planetary gear(PG1) includes a first sun gear, a first carrier supporting a primary pinion which is engaged in the first sun gear, and a first ring gear which is engaged in the primary pinion. A second planetary gear(PG2) includes a second sun gear, a second carrier supporting a second pinion which is engaged in the second sun gear, and a second ring gear which is engaged in the second pinion. A first friction element(C1) selectively interlinks an interval between the first sun gear and the second carrier. A second friction element(C2) selectively interlinks an interval between the first carrier and the second sun gear. A third friction element(C3) selectively interlinks an interval between the second carrier and the first carrier. A fourth friction element(C4) selectively interlinks an interval between a first rotation member and the second sun gear. A sixth friction element(B1) locks the rotation of the second carrier. |
