PURPOSE: A device for cutting the top of the wrap is provided to enable the top of the wrap to be cut more rapidly and safely without the damage to a package since a wrap absorbing unit is connected. CONSTITUTION: A device for cutting the top of the wrap comprises a frame(2), a thermal cutting unit(3) and a wrap absorbing unit(4). The frame is horizontally supported on one column of a base to be slidable. The thermal cutting unit comprises a heating wire arranged in a T-shape housing and cuts the wrap with the heat. The wrap absorbing unit connects an absorbing pipe of a blower to the thermal cutting unit and makes the wrap cling to the thermal cutting unit. For the thermal cutting unit, a heating wire cutting the wrap is arranged in the center of a T-shape housing comprising insulating materials is arranged by a terminal in a T-shape line and the an absorbing hole is formed on the upper part of the center of the housing.
