PURPOSE: A Pseudomonas sp. NJ134 having an activity of preventing plant diseases is provided to suppress disease occurrence and to enhance crop yield. CONSTITUTION: A Pseudomonas sp. NJ134 has an activity of preventing plant diseases. The Pseudomonas sp. NJ134 has 16S rDNA sequene of sequence number 1. An agent for preventing plant diseases contains Pseudomonas sp. NJ134 or culture medium thereof as an active ingredient.
