PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a lithium manganese oxide and a lithium manganese metal oxide, including a spinel crystal structure and a nanostructure, are provided to apply oxides as an excellent positive electrode active material. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a lithium manganese oxide including a spinel crystal structure and a nanostructure comprises the following steps: producing a manganese oxide; mixing lithium salt with the manganese oxide to form a mixture; and heat-processing the mixture with a solid-state reaction. The lithium manganese oxide is marked with chemical formula LiMn_2O_4.
