Process for preparing slurry

A process for preparing a slurry for surfacing applications is disclosed. Sand and filler, wherein at least 30wt% of the filler is titanium dioxide, are mixed. A binder emulsion is added to the mixture of sand and filler and is mixed with the sand and filler. The slurry can be used to prepare surface layers on buildings and roads, and such surface layers can reduce pollution in urban areas.
