PURPOSE: A filter manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method thereof for forming wrinkle is formed with a wrinkle forming roller are provided to improve the filter effect and the filter intention by forming the wrinkle of the uniform quality and manufacture non-woven fabric. CONSTITUTION: A filter manufacturing apparatus includes a non-woven fabric winding roll(1) in which the winding roll drive motor is included in one side is reeled. A sensor-device(2) which is installed in the front side down side of the non-woven fabric winding roll and controls tension and speed of the reeled non-woven fabric. A wrinkle forming roller(3) forms the wrinkle in the non-woven fabric transferred to through the non-woven fabric guideline guide roller. A wrinkle generation apparatus(4) is installed in the back side of the wrinkle forming roller and is created the wrinkle of the non-woven fabric. A cutting apparatus(5) is comprised of a cutter at a constant interval cuts the wrinkle non-woven fabric transferred to from the wrinkle generation apparatus and cutter drive motor.
